                INTRODUCTION TO ELECTROCHEMISTRY
       Energy is the ability to do work. The Law of Conservation of Energy
       states that  energy cannot  be  created or destroyed, but  is converted
       from one form to another. There are two types of energy, potential
       energy, which is stored energy, and kinetic energy, which is the energy
       a body possesses by  virtue of its motion. Hence, all energy is either
       potential  or kinetic, each  of  which has its  own  forms, as shown in
