             2.4.13 Damage of Nonstructural Components

             According to the related codes’ recommendations [8], the majority of the non-
             structural components in the building should be securely clamped to the walls
             and, if possible, to each other. Instability of these components can cause finan-
             cial damage and in some cases pose life-threatening dangers. Fig. 2.24 shows
             examples of damage of nonstructural components.
