Beginner's Guide to SOLIDWORKS 2019- Level I

In every part there will always be one configuration called 'Default'. Once

the Configuration-Manager is selected, we can add a new configuration by right-

mouse-clicking at the top of the Configuration Manager in the part's name, in this

case 'Housing', and select the "Add Configuration ... " option. Name the new

configuration "Forge", set the description to "Model for Foundry" and click OK.

Adding comments and/or descriptions is optional but often useful.
