STEP 1: PERFECT THE PRESENT 19
eliminate all the sources of stress in your life, and start tak-
ing better care of yourself. Look at what activities you can
eliminate, postpone, or delegate. Ask for help from friends
and family, or hire help if you need to. Hide the TV in a
closet and get to bed earlier so you can get up earlier and
meditate, walk, and get some exercise.
6–10 pts. Keep up the good work! The more energy you have, the
easier it is to accomplish all that you want to do.
TIME AND SPACE
0–5 pts. You are running around like a headless chicken. You may be
addicted to the adrenaline rush of running late, showing up
just on time, or doing too much. Start by simply showing up
ten minutes early to every appointment and you will begin
to create the feeling of having more than enough time in
your life. If you are too busy and stressed, you’ll miss out on
opportunities. Try cutting out caffeine as well to get off the
adrenaline addiction. Learn to say no, and say it often.
6–10 pts. Well done! Continue to carve out time for yourself and you’ll
attract even better opportunities. Creativity needs time and
space. As you give yourself more than enough time, you’ll
be able to access your innate creativity.
LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS
0–5 pts. You may not realize that your unfulfilled personal and
emotional needs are driving away the love and people you
most want to attract. This situation is completely curable.

sonal needs. Then take action to satisfy them in healthful
and appropriate ways. For suggestions on how to do this,

even the tiniest bit “needy,” you’ll end up repelling people
and opportunities. Get your needs fulfilled and you’ll start
attracting them instead!
