            Two-Stage Casing Arrangement

            Dry screw compressor trains may consist of one single stage or more stages.
            Normally each stage has its own separate casing. The casings can be arranged
            in tandem with one stage driving the other directly or in parallel where each
            stage is connected to a separate pinion of the gearbox (Fig. 6.14). The parallel
