GUIDE SPECIFICATION FOR WATERPROOFING 15.5
1.06 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
A. Delivery
1. Materials should be delivered in manufacturer's original, unopened packaging with
labels attached,
B. Storage
1. Store materials in the original unopened packages.
C. Handling
1. All materials must be handled in a manner to prevent damage. Any material
damaged must be removed from the project area and replaced with new material.
2. Miradrain materials must be handled in accordance with Mirafi guidelines.
1.07 PROJECT CONDITIONS/SITE CONDITIONS
A. When Miradrain is installed in conjunction with a waterproofing product, the Miradrain must be
compatible with the waterproofing product and installed by methods acceptable to the
waterproofing product manufacturer.
B. The outfall for any drainage pipe used with the drainage panels shall be coordinated with the
site drainage.

C. Project Conditions: Refer to "Conditions of the Contract" for control and responsibility of
project site including means, methods and techniques of construction by the contractor.
D. Field Measurements: Verify actual measurements/openings by performing field
measurements before fabrication; show recorded measurements on shop drawings.
Coordinate field measurements, fabrication schedule with construction progress to avoid
construction delays.
