15.6 CHAPTER FIFTEEN
1.08 WARRANTY

A. Project Warranty: Refer to "Conditions of the Contract" for project warranty provisions.
Submit manufacturer's single-source warranty directly from drainage composites
manufacturer for drainage system.

B. Manufacturer's Warranty Requirements: Submit, for Owner's acceptance, manufacturer's
standard warranty document executed by authorized company official. Manufacturer's
warranty is in addition to, and not a limitation of, other rights Owner may have under the
Contract Documents.
1. Beneficiary: Issue warranty in the legal name of the project Owner.

2. Warranty Period; years commencing on Date of Substantial Completion

3. Warranty Acceptance: Owner is sole authority who will determine acceptability of
manufacturer's warranty documents.

Ed Note: Select available Manufacturer's Warranty Program from below and revise below as appropriate. Consult with Mirafi for specific
Warranty Terms and Conditions. For Manufacturer's Material Warranty Program select standard geotextile Mirafi 700XG Woven Fabric for
horizontal applications or 140NC Nonwoven Fabric for vertical applications.
C. Manufacturer's Warranty Program:

1. Manufacturer's Material Warranty: Material only warranty, excludes labor.
a. Standard Waterproofing and Drainage Duration: 5 year material warranty.
b. Extended Waterproofing and Drainage Duration: 10 year material warranty.

Ed Note: For Manufacturer's Site Specific Warranty Program select Mirafi Filterweave 40/10, Filterweave HP500 Fabric, Filterweave 70/20
Woven or Mirafi 1 SON Nonwoven Fabrics. Below Warranty is available when selection of Site Specific fabric is in accordance with Mirafi
project specific written recommendations, based upon review of project's soil report submitted by architect. Additionally, application must be
performed by a Mirafi approved applicator. Warranty coverage is for drainage performance of Mirafi "Miradrain" Drainage Composite for the
duration of the warranty.

2. Manufacturer's Site Specific Drainage Warranty: Manufacturer's site specific drainage
warranty covers the Miradrain drainage system guaranteeing "no clogging drainage"
performance of the Miradrain drainage composite for the duration of the warranty,
a. Site Specific Drainage Duration: 5 year no clogging drainage warranty.
