Figure 9.35. Note that the Digimarc ID shows as ImageBridge Demo here, not as a specific
identity. If a real digital ID were used, you could click the Web Lookup button to view the ID
                          holder’s contact information. Click OK.

                    Securing Your Data
Acrobat files offer the highest level of security with password protection and access level permis-
sions. Creating a multipage PDF presentation can be the safest way to go if you are worried about
security. Let’s see how easy it is to secure your data.
                       1. Open the file Slices.psd from the companion CD.

NOTE If you do not have Acrobat already installed on your system, download the free Reader from
                       the companion CD.
                       2. Choose File Automate PDF Presentation to open the PDF Presentation dialog box, as
shown in Figure 9.36. Click Add Open Files. Also choose Multi-Page Document and View PDF
After Saving. Click Save to open the PDF Options dialog box, type Security.pdf.
                       3. In the PDF Options dialog box, as shown in Figure 9.37, choose JPEG encoding with Maximum
quality. Check Image Interpolation and PDF Security. Click the Security Settings button to
open the PDF Security dialog box.
                       4. Check Password Required To Open Document. Type the password 1234 in the Document
Open Password text box. (Use a password that is much more difficult to guess in a real project.)
                       5. Check Password Required To Change Permission And Passwords, and type the password
654321 in the Permissions Password text box below. (Obviously, you should use a better pass-
word in a real project.) This is the administrator’s password that is required to change the open
                          password given in step 4.
