In the lower left Options-Sketch panel, uncheck Snape to grid and Snap to angle,
and click Cartesian dimensions. Cartesian dimensions show you the x and y
distances from the point you select. In the Graphics Window, click the lower
left corner (labelled Point C in the figure below) to select it as the base point
and drag along line CA to create point A, enter 0.8m in the box for distance
between A and C. Next, use point A as the base point, and drag along line AB
to create point B, enter 2.4m in the box for distance between A and B.
Next, click the Sweep Arc icon on the Design tab, and create two half circles of
radius 0.4m centered at points A and B, respectively, as shown below.
