4. Cloud test
A 1000 mg/L solution of this highly efficient and degradable
degreaser was prepared and its cloud point was measured. The result
illustrates that the degreaser solution is clear and transparent up to
100 C and no cloud point exists. It shows that the main component in
the degreaser is ionic surfactant; i.e., traphenypropyl propyl ether sulfate
(Fig. 6.28).
