Boiler tube replacement

10.1 General scope of field work required for boiler tube
replacement sheet 1

Scope of Work-Field Erection
Boiler scaffolding and rigging
Open steam drum and/or lower drum
Remove drum internals
Remove soot blowers
Remove boiler trim
Remove casing, tie bars, and brill
Remove existing tubes (cut and remove)
Knock out tube butts and clean tube holes
Install new tubes
Expand tubes in steam drum and lower drum
Reinstall boiler casing (including tie bars)
Reinstall boiler trim
Reinstall soot blowers
Close steam and lower drums
Testing
Clean up and remove boiler scaffold and rigging
Disconnect and reconnect gas outlet
