                  ƒ Transducers in multicavity molds can provide understanding of cavity balance.
                 All of the above data will help understand the total process balance in each cav-
                 ity, and not just the fill balance determined in typical cavity balance studies.

               In Figure 13.4 the pressure drop between the machine pressure (10,390 psi) and
               two end-of-fill transducers (6,550 and 6,414 psi) is easily determined. This data
               would not be attainable without having installed cavity pressure transducers in
               the mold. Another benefit in this case is to see that both ends of the cavity are be-
               ing filled, packed, and cooled exactly the same. Using this data, it is easy to deter-
               mine that there is approximately 4,000 psi in pressure drop from the machine to
               the end of the cavity.
