the primary source of cell weight loss, the water vapor transport rate is directly related to cell limiting
current in a low-humidity environment.
In Fig. 13.24, a cell limiting current versus water vapor transport relationship also exists in high-
humidity conditions. A high cell limiting current increases the water vapor transport rate, increasing
the cell weight gain.
