               7.6 Summary

               Various examples of mechatronic systems have been presented in this chapter.
               These include electronics, mechanics and sometimes also software. In all cases
               a complete modelling could be achieved on the basis of hardware description
               languages, which means that the system in question can be investigated using
               a simulator.
