XY/ZC type with vertical single spindle, the manufacturers endeavor
to develop new types of MC, e.g., vertical MC of /XYZC type. This
type appears to satisfy the requirement of the German machine tool
market, especially that for application to the FTL. It is very inter-
esting that the Japanese manufacturers tend to respond to such a
requirement using the Y/XZC type.
