finally flattening up to that of an equivalent solid, as already shown in
Fig. 5-22. In short, the dynamic joint stiffness increases duly with the
preload, showing some dependence on the excitation frequency. This
behavior is, as easily understood, identical to that observed in the
static stiffness of the single flat joint and also in the dynamic stiff-
ness of the multiple-laminated joint.
