lever 1 stays low and engages with the correspondingly formed end of lever 8. This
causes the latter to rotate so that its upper end actuates push button 10, disconnecting
contacts 11 and interrupting circuit 13. This signal can be used in any convenient way:
to stop the machine, signal the personnel about some defect, supply the wire, etc. This
device is actually a very old invention used in looms for checking wire presence.
