wave is produced by means of a special pump made, for instance, of ceramic.
This method, which uses molten tin from the deep layers of the pool, obviously
provides a clean stream of tin.
3. The wave is produced by magneto-hydrodynamic means, with the device shown
schematically in Figure 2.8. It consists of a specially shaped pool where the tin
is located. The bottom of the pool has two hollow protuberances. The poles of
