an on-line site that allows learners to access information by topic to assist in using soft-
ware features or to refresh memory of information received in training sessions.

Reference Guides
Guides for workplace referral that contain key terminology can be designed to com-
plement classroom concepts taught. These are handy quick-reference guides providing
important information that someone needs to perform a task or assignment. They can
range from a couple of pages to hundreds.

Flow Charts

Charts consisting of a series of intervals plotted on lines or to show a series of paral-
lel lines can be used to illustrate progress, a schedule of events, time lines, a chrono-
logical sequence of events, or other paths from start to finish. These are especially help-
ful to remind learners about key elements or events and to assist visual learners recall
information.

Computation Guide

Statistical, numerical information and computation charts, such as a multiplication
table, can be developed for use by those who have to deal with such information or with
formulas so that they have a readily available source of the information and do not waste
time recomputing or figuring out needed data.
