l The steam chamber consisting of branch 150 that allows the steam collection from the
seven tubes.
l The LBE equivalent channel (pipe 403) that simulates the shell side of steam generator has
been simulated with an equivalent channel.
The time-dependent volume (TMDPVOL) 401 sets the LBE inlet temperature, and
TMDPJUN 402 fixes the LBE mass flow rate, while the TMDPVOL 405 represents
the LBE outlet.
The hot water at the steam generator inlet is heated by a heat source that simulates
the preheater component installed in the secondary loop upstream the steam generator;
the water pressure in the entire line is controlled by a VALVE component positioned
downstream the steam generator. A TMDPVOL at the end of the discharge line
defines the environment conditions of the air for the steam discharge at 10°C and
atmospheric pressure.
