The responsibility of the CM/GC usually involves the submittal of material that will be
used for the landmarks project. The Landmarks Commission wants to make sure that
the specified material (as agreed to by the Landmarks Commission) and the actual
material are consistent with the intent of the architecture approved. The CM/GC should
be aware of potential time delays in obtaining the necessary approvals for materials and
their finishes.
