of the chamber under the force of gravity. The air, free of solids, exits the unit. Some suggest that
a large fitter bag be installed which will capture particles while the exit air is filtered and escapes.
The air can be either pushed or pulled, and a fan can be placed either before or after the cyclone
(Vesilind et al., 2002).
