                            Taper keys (Figure 4.4a) have a slope of 1 : 100 between the top surface of key and the
                          mating hub surface, with round ends, square ends and a gib-head end. The installation
                          of a round end key is similar to that of a parallel key, that is, installing the key first and
                          then driving the hub over the key; while square-end and gib-head keys are designed to
                          be inserted from the end of the shaft after the hub is in position.
