Beginner's Guide to SOLIDWORKS 2019- Level I
18.25. - When we start a new detail drawing, oftentimes we don't know for sure
what scale to use in order to comfortably fit the necessary views in the sheet. In
these instances, when the drawing sheet is too big or too small, we can change
the sheet's and/or an individual view's scale. In this case, the best scale to fit the
views in this sheet needs to be 1:1 , which means the drawing is the exact size as
the real part. To change or confirm the scale is correct, right-mouse-click in the
sheet (not a drawing view), or in the sheet's name in the FeatureManager, and
from the pop-up menu select "Properties."
