11.5.1 Force deformation analysis
To understand the force deformation relationship, the simulation of the one-piece design
and disk-wire design are studied. For the disk-tube design, the supporting backbone is a
tube, and it is an independent system to the driving tendon system. We can use the
simulation (Fig. 11.12) of the one-piece design to interpret the disk-tube design. Comparing
the deformation under the same force, we can see that the deformation of the one-piece
