             sheet 1
Coal-fired power plants produce electricity by burning coal in a boiler to pro-
duce steam. The steam produced, under pressure, flows into a turbine, which
spins a generator to create electricity. The steam is then cooled, condensed back
into water, and returned to the boiler to start the process over.
The project includes the installation of a new coal-fired boiler and the instal-
lation of new auxiliary equipment. Erection of the boiler, selective catalytic
reduction (SCR) system, air heater, FD and primary air fans, flue work, fly
ash handling system, electrostatic precipitator, ID fan, coal silo and pulverize,
bottom ash handling system, ductwork and breeching, structural steel, and
             boiler casing
