important parameter in the Indoor Environmental Quality category is the location of
the breathing zone. The measurements are taken within the breathing zone to test for
the indoor air quality (IAQ) parameters as specified for IEQc1 if any of the options for
carbon dioxide (CO ) monitoring are used, IEQc2 for the air quality testing option, and
2
IEQc3.2 for the air quality testing option and for the calculations for both IEQp1 and
IEQc2. It is important to design a building for improved IAQ in this volume.
