fluorine-containing sidechain extends outwardly towards the air, reducing the
surface energy of the glass slide. When the fluorination concentration
increases, the fluorine-containing side chain bonded to the surface of the glass
slide increases. Due to the limitation of space steric effect of long-chain alkyl,
the long-chain structure adjusts each space in accordance with the principle of
minimum energy, and condenses with the hydrophilic group of the film sur-
face to the maximum level. Therefore, the hydrophobic group spread on the
surface of the glass slide is reduced, and the effect of minimizing surface
energy of the glass slide cannot be achieved. However, the hydrophobic effect
is not ideal.
The best treatment concentration of other polymer emulsions, MPEG-b- F08
and MPEG-b- F07 was determined through the same method for follow-up
characterization. Figs. 3.14 and 3.15 show the results.
From Figs. 3.14 and 3.15, it can be seen that the best treatment concentration
of polymer lotion MPEG-b- F08 and MPEG-b- F07 are both 10 vol%.
