(−17 to 537.8°C). It gives LMTD with sufficient accuracy for all normal
industrial and commercial heat-exchanger applications. Correction-factor
charts for three shell passes, six or more tube passes, four shell passes, and

eight or more tube passes are published in the Standards of the Tubular
Exchanger Manufacturers Association.
