Waste heat boiler

4.1 Equipment descriptions
4.1.1 Boiler pressure parts

The section includes the installation of a new waste heat boiler.

Boiler-pressure parts
The furnace tubes and generating bank tubes will be shipped knocked down
with as much factory assembly as practical for shipping.
Steam drum and mud drum
Install one (1) steam drum and one (1) mud drum. The steam drum will come
with all internals mounted. Remove and reinstall after boiling out.

Furnace panels
The furnace consists of wall panels and roof panels.
Water wall panels
Install water wall panels.
Coen 100 MMBTU burner with primary air fan
Set and seal weld the burner wind box to the casingon the furnace. Set IC duct-
work from the wind box to the new fan including expansion joint and silencer.
New fan will be mounted on the structural steel. Set all loose spool piping
assemblies including the jackshaft assemblies. Fabricate and install silencer
support.

Install super heater section
Connection to drums
Generating bank, boiler, sidewall, furnace, roof, and furnace rear wall tubes
are expanded and flared to 1800psi.

Soot blowers
Install rotary and retractable soot blowers and support bearings.
Fuel feeding equipment
Metering bins
Install six (6) metering bin screws. Installation includes support steel.
Metering bins will set on load cells. Install 24 load cells.
Boiler drag chain
Install one (1) boiler drag chain above the metering bins.
