Position the battery holder in the robot. There should be room for the bat-
tery holder between the BrainStem controller and sensor 1. Attach the battery
holder using double-sided foam tape.
Position the 9-volt battery clip in the robot. You will want to insert the bat-
tery into the clip when you position it. The battery clip will fit opposite the
power connections of the BrainStem controller. When the battery is posi-
tioned so that it fits, use double-sided foam tape to attach it.
Attaching the Deck to the Frame
Before attaching the deck to the frame, you may want to test your connections.
To do this you will need the Config program from Acroname. We show you
how to download and install this program in Chapter 5. So, go download, in-
stall, and run Config. Use it to verify that the servos and sensors are wired cor-
rectly and are working. If they are not, check your wiring and power
connections and fix any problems you find. Once everything is working, at-
tach the BrainStem to the deck, if needed. There are six metal tabs spaced
around the top of the frame. These tabs should line up with holes drilled into
