✖ On the controller board, the ground wire is the pin closest to the board.
The connectors from the sensors will plug into the analog ports on the con-
troller board. These ports are on the top left side of the board and are labeled
H1. There are five ports, numbered 0 to 4; port 0 is the leftmost port, and you
should be able to see the number 0 printed on the controller board under the
pins for port 0.

If you are not a programmer, you might wonder why the ports are
numbered from 0 to 4 and not 1 to 5. That’s because of the way digital
computers address and use memory locations. To put it simply, each
