80% of the total energy consumption during defrosting. Clearly, as the frost accumu-
lation increased, the total energy supply increased correspondingly, but the effective
energy consumption was different in the five cases. It is demonstrated that the highest
defrosting efficiency in the five cases is not in Case 1 or Case 5. That means there is the
most suitable frost accumulation for this experimental ASHP unit, which can improve
the defrosting performance the best in the five cases.
