Exercise 2.18: COSMETIC THREAD
Apply a Cosmetic thread 1/,i-20-2 UNC 2A. A Cosmetic thread
represents the inner diameter of a thread on a boss or the outer
diameter of a thread.
Copy and open the Cosmetic Thread part from the Chapter 2
Homework folder.
Click the bottom edge of the part as illustrated.
Click Insert, Annotations, Cosmetic Thread from the Menu bar menu.
View the Cosmetic Thread PropertyManager. Edge<l > is displayed.
Select Blind for End Condition.
Enter 1. 00 for depth.
Enter .200 for min diameter.
Enter 1/,i-20-2 UNC 2A in the Thread Callout box.
