               6. The rate of loading has an effect on the microslip, resulting in the
                  reduction of the tangential joint stiffness. According to the results of
                  Kirsanova, the tangential stiffness reduces 20% when the rate of
                  loading increases 2.5 times.
                 To this end, Fig. 6-19 shows the test rig used by Boothroyed and cowork-
               ers. This test rig can be characterized by its smart ideas as follows.
