Bushes are generally supplied with an allowance for
finishing the bore in situ by boring, broaching, reeming, or
ball burnishing, although prefinished bushes may be
available to special orders.
Half bearings are generally machined to close tolerances
on wall thickness and may be installed without further
machining.
