-;Q~ Minimize the number of Fillet radius sizes created in the FeatureManager. Combine
Fillets and Rounds that have a common radius. Select all Fillet/Round edges. Add edges
to the Items to Fillet list in the Fillet PropertyManager. Select the small edges, and then
fillet the larger edges.
PLATE Part - Hole Wizard Feature
The PLATE part requires a Countersink hole. Apply the Hole Wizard ~ feature. The
Hole Wizard creates simple and complex Hole features by stepping through a series of
options (Wizard) to define the hole type and hole placement. The Hole Wizard requires a
face or Sketch plane to position the Hole feature. Select the back face.
Activity: PLATE Part - Hole Wizard Feature
Rotate the view.
194) Click and drag the mouse pointer using the middle mouse key
to the left to rotate the part as illustrated. The Rotate icon ~
is displayed.
Display the Back view.
195) Click Back view ctj from the Heads-up View toolbar. The
Origin is displayed at the lower right corner.
Insert the Countersink hole.
196) Click the Hole Wizard ~ Feature tool. The Hole Specification
PropertyManager is displayed.
