Copy the CUSTOMER Assembly - Apply Pack and Go

Copying an assembly in SOLIDWORKS is not the same as copying a document in

Microsoft Word. The CUSTOMER assembly contains references to its parts and other

sub-assemblies. Your task is to provide a copy of the CUSTOMER assembly to a

colleague for review. Copy the CUSTOMER assembly and all of the components

(references) into a different file folder named CopiedModels. Reference all component

file locations to the new file folder. Apply the SOLIDWORKS Pack and Go tool.

Apply the SOLIDWORKS Pack and Go tool to save the CUSTOMER assembly to a new file folder.

505) Click File, Pack and Go from the

Menu bar. Note the save options: (II Pack and Go

Save to folder or Save to Zip file. Select files to be saved to the specified Pack and Go folder. Note: unchecked files must
be made available to successfully render the model.
