                                                45)  Click the Origin L. This is the first point of the



                                                                 rectangle. It is very important that you always reference



                                                                the sketch to the origin. This helps to fully define the



                                                                 sketch.





                                                46)  Drag the mouse pointer up and to the right.






                                                47)  Release the mouse button to create the second point



                                                                 and the rectangle. The first point is Coincident to the


                                                                 Origin.

                                                48)  Click View, Hide/Show, Sketch Relations from the



                                                                 Menu bar. The sketch relations are displayed in the


                                                                 Graphics window.

                                                Sketch Relations from the Menu bar.






                                                The X-Y coordinates of the rectangle are displayed above the mouse pointer as you drag




                                                the mouse pointer up and to the right.  The X-Y coordinates display different values.




                                                Define the exact width and height with the Smart dimension tool.










                                                The Corner Rectangle tool  ~ remains selected. The rectangle sketch contains



                                                predefined geometric sketch relations: two Horizontal  - relations




                                                and two Vertical  I  relations. The first point of the rectangle




                                                contains a Coincident  A  relation at the Origin.

                                                SOLIDWORKS uses color and cursor feedback to aid in




                                                the sketching process. The Comer Rectangle tool remains



                                                active until you select another tool or right-click Select.




                                                The right mouse button contains additional tools.
