SOLIDWORKS SmartFastener uses the Hole Wizard tool to automatically

SmartMate the corresponding Toolbox fasteners in an assembly. The

fastener is sized and inserted into the assembly based on the Dimensioning

Standard of the Hole.

SOLIDWORKS provides a tool known as 3D ContentCentral. 3D

ContentCentral provides access to 3D models from component suppliers

and individuals in all major CAD formats. ' o

their customers. SOLIDWORKS users share information through 3D

ContentCentral.

In the next section, create the CUSTOMER Assembly from the MGPM12-1010

assembly. The MGPM12-1010 assembly was downloaded from 3D ContentCentral. The

manufacturer of the MGPM12-1010 assembly is SMC of USA. Utilize the assembly

model that is located in the ENGDESIGN-W-SOLIDWORKS\VENDOR

COMPONENTS folder for the next section.
